Experience

February-December 2019

Teaching Residency, Bascom Center for Visual Arts, Highlands, North Carolina

Taught one on one and group ceramic classes to both children and adults. Assisted with general studio upkeep such as glaze mixing, recycling clay, firing kilns, and general studio upkeep.

March-May 2020 

Virtual Art Class for Respite Care, Portsmouth, NH March 2020

Taught a virtual clay class while following social distancing rules. Planned activities and projects by putting together kits with slabs of clay, limited tools and templates that the student can complete independently from home with the assistance of video call instruction.

Sept 2020-May 2024 

Intro to Ceramics Adjunct Instructor at the University of New Hampshire

Taught the students the basic principles of constructing forms out of clay. Starting with working with wet clay through the process of firing a piece.

Fall Semester 2023

Ceramics Workshop Adjunct Instructor at the University of New Hampshire

Taught the students how to work with porcelain clay. Partnered with the NH Potter's Guild in leading the students how to fire a wood kiln.

Sept 2021-Current

Small group art instructor, Mudcity Clay, Gonic, New Hampshire

Taught small group wheel throwing classes in a community studio. Planned projects and taught techniques requested by students of varying abilities.
